Zach Marks started working on the concept of Grom Social after being kicked off of Facebook twice by his parents. Zach’s vision was to create a safe, educational, fun, and highly interactive digital social networking platform “By Kids for Kids” between the ages of 5-16. Grom Social has many cool features for kids that help them connect with other friends, chat, share photos, and post interesting stories. You can now make your own Gromatar for your profile photo, watch funny videos, play games and join group discussions.
Also, the Grom Pound serves as headquarters for Grom Social. This dynamic location features a motocross track, a six-foot half pipe, a quarter pipe, a pool, as well as a trampoline and is located down the street from the world-famous surf break Sebastian Inlet. This locale provides endless recreational and educational stories for our weekly Grom Spots as does the active lifestyle of the Marks family and their passion for adventure.
The ingenuity of Zach, the value proposition of Grom Social, as well as, the active lifestyle and sense of giving back to others demonstrated by the Marks family has attracted kids from around the world and industry leaders. These individuals are helping Zach fulfill his dream of changing the face of technology for Groms everywhere!
